| Wow, everyone is getting married! My roommate just got engaged, and i have another friend getting married over J-term! And those who aren't getting married seem to be pairing up left and right... 
But i'm just stalling on homework: physics for me! in seven days, i will be free for 2.5 whole weeks!!!!! What's it gonna be like, to have no impending deadlines or meetings or homework? It's been a very long time...maybe i can develop a social life again?! People call me over christmas!

| The wedding was absolutely wonderful! they wrote their own vows and were married outside on a bluff overlooking lake michigan. It was beautiful and touching, and they will be very happy together. | | |
| Nick left home tonight. he and his wife-to-be leave tomorrow morning for the 15 hour drive to michigan. i had thought that he would stay here for the last night, but since they're leaving really early he is going to sleep on Hanah's couch. So the bridal shower is over, nick's best friends have gone home, and nick is gone. i'm used to him being out late, but this is so lonely. i know he won't be that far away, but i'm gonna miss my brother. he won't be here early morning or late nights, and he'll probably hardly come over without a good reason because he'll prefer to be home with his wifey and their animals and comfort. i already miss him. | | |
| I bought new jeans!! for those of you who don't really care, i'm going to tell you anyway! cuz my old jeans rapidly developed three...yes count them....three...massive holes in the knees in the last month, and i do not want to wear icky jeans to meet Hanah's extended family, for a two-week stay in her home, the first time most of them meet me. so i bought the jeans. they're really comfy too.
aaaaannnndd, that's about all i've got. i should be writing a letter to my mission trip donors, but i'm procrastinating....again. i should NOT be allowed to touch a keyboard. and i should probably disconnect the internet in my room, too.....but i won't! man, this stuff is addictive. literally. i don't have time to update anymore, and i go through withdrawls, then when i finally do update, i have to keep doing it because i'm automatically addicted again. it's that whole false-high thing. 
anyway.
mmmm, so if you don't like coffee (or espresso, you freaks), you should try some black tea! it's got lots of caffeine (though not as much as coffee, but enough), and it tastes really good with cream and sugar! and if you drink it in the afternoon (2bags, not one), you may not go to sleep until 2am!!! it's a great study tool. i've been up late all week. 8-) | | |
| hahaha, day three and running!! i'll probably only make it to day 4 because i'll be leaving for Michigan and do not plan to spend time on the computer rather than with Hanah's family. i'm so excited! We met her family once, but this is the first time for me to visit them, and we're staying 2 weeks!
i get to go buy a dress for the wedding tomorrow. i have several skirts (which i've had for quite some time, all of them), but no dresses that fit. so hopefully i can find one in Tulsa tomorrow! in the meantime, that means that i have to pack EVERYTHING i think there is any possibility of using, since i have no idea right now what i will need. and that's a lot of jewelry to drag around. other than the jewelry and extra shoes, though, it's really not bad at all. maybe i can fanagle Julie into scouting out dresses with me.  | | |
